An electric bicycle is not only sports equipment, but also a unique means of transport.
It depends on you how much energy you use. The electric motor will allow you to optimally choose the power of driving assistance.
The battery is completely hidden in the frame, so the bike retains its classic look. Similarly, the electric motor (including the gears in the rear wheel hub) is completely hidden. The electric motor starts automatically when you start driving. An electric bike doesn’t work like a motorcycle, but it helps you pedal. The buttons on the left side of the steering wheel allow you to set the power support in 9 levels. With the help of an engine, you can easily climb a hill, which will be difficult for even the most-endured cyclists to climb. You can also turn off the electric support.
On the large, easy-to-read display you can see the battery charge status, current speed, the level of electric support of the motor and the distance traveled. You can also view average and maximum travel speeds.
Riding an electric bike is extremely easy. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Turn the ignition on and off using the M button for a long time. Briefly pressing this button toggles the display information. Use the plus / minus (+/-) buttons to set the aid intensity in nine levels or turn it off. Hold the plus (+) button to turn the headlight and display backlight on and off. An interesting feature is the walking assistant. A long press (2 s) of the minus (-) button switches to Walking Assist mode and starts the movement at a speed of about 6 km / h. You will definitely use this function, for example, if you lead the bike on a steep slope. The walking assistant is only activated if when you hold down the minus (-) button. When you release the button, the wheel stops immediately.
The front light is a pair of brightly-lit LEDs. The reflector is powered by a battery, but thanks to the LED diode, it absorbs energy almost imperceptibly. Under the seat there is a red taillight, which is powered by its own integrated battery.
HECHT CATISS is equipped with SHIMANO derailleur and Acera derailleur. The bike is equipped with three transducers and a seven-speed cassette (three-wheel drive front and rear).
The front and rear wheels are braked with TEKTRO ARIES disc brakes. The RST front fork has adjustable stiffness.
The rigid aluminum frame ensures high rigidity. The whole bike weighs only 19 kg.
The lithium-ion battery with SAMSUNG batteries has a capacity of 10 Ah at a voltage of 36 V. After fully discharging the battery will be charged using the included charger (included) in about 5 hours. The engine power is 250 W. The maximum speed when using electric support is 25 km / h; When this speed is reached, power assistance is automatically turned off and reactivated when the speed drops below 25 km / h. The bicycle therefore meets the road traffic conditions set by applicable EU legislation. The range on full charge is about 70 km. Of course, you can use the bike without assistance, but keep in mind that the integrated drive motor will have little resistance when riding.
Thanks to the fact that the entire electric drive system is skillfully hidden in the structure of a two-wheeler, you will avoid jokes from other cyclists and you will be surprised by the ease with which you will overcome even the heaviest hills. The HECHT CATISS electric bike will become a reliable helper on your way to work, school or on trips to the countryside.
Data given on max. ranges are approximate values that can be obtained under ideal conditions. In practice, range largely depends on the driver’s weight and additional load, differences in terrain height, weather conditions, road conditions, driving style, number of starts (e.g. starting from intersections), tire condition, battery condition and many other factors. Under extreme conditions, the range may decrease to less than 50% of the specified value.
The maximum working time given on one charge indicates the approximate value of what can be achieved under ideal conditions. In practice, the working time on one charge largely depends on the way the machine is used (e.g. frequency of starting and extinguishing), operating conditions, ambient temperature, battery condition and many other factors. In extreme conditions, the working time on one charge can be reduced to less than 50% of the specified value.
